To change the password of a cPanel account, start by logging into WHM as root.

Open the "Account Functions" menu.

Click "Password Modification" and then enter the new password in the "New Password" field.

Simply select the account that needs a new password from the drop down list, and then click on "Change".

A shorter and simpler way to change a password is to go into the "Account Information" page.

Select "List Accounts", and you will see a "+" symbol near each listed domain name.

When you click the "+", you will be able to enter a new password. Be sure to click the "Change" button to finalize the new password.

Note that changing the account's password will change the account's cPanel and ftp passwords!
