Suspending a hosting account in Plesk

This tutorial assumes that you have already logged in to Plesk.

Now let's learn how to suspend an existing hosting account.

You may wish to suspend an account if that customer's account is past due, if they are spamming or abusing your servers, or violate the Terms of Service they're obliged to.

1) Click Domains icon here.

2) Click the domain name for which you'd like to suspend the account.

This icon next to domain's status shows that the account is active now.

3) Click Suspend here to proceed.

That's it! The hosting for domain demo1234.com has been suspended...let's resume it now.

4) Click Unsuspend link here.

The account is active again!

This is the end of the tutorial. You now know how to suspend and unsuspend (resume) hosting accounts in Plesk. Remember that suspending accounts will immediately cause all website, FTP, FrontPage, email and database functions to stop working for the suspended account.
